hey guys! I have a new blog so I'll be posting most of my stuff there now :)

hardcore band geek much?

OKAY so it's been quite a while since I've posted something... ehehehe. Well school's being a real hassle, the homework load has just kept on piling on and on and on yet I still somehow manage to make time for facebook and msn... strange. ^o) So I've just come back from my 3 day band camp. Boy was it hard. And fun. So we pretty much spent most of our time rehearsing band, yeah it sounds boring, but there were things that kept me entertained. I AM SO TIRED THOUGH. So this post is gonna be really short because I need to head off to sleep like NOW. CIAO.

It's been so long since I've posted. 2 weeks i think. WELL it's the end of February, and before I move on, I'd like to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PRISCILLA!!! for the 26th feb :) Happy birthday young one (even though you're older than me). OH and also HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NITA!! who's birthday was on the 16th of feb !

Okay well now, onto more unhappy things. S.C.H.O.O.L. Ugh kill me. Year 9 is so different to yr 8. So much more hw, and more stress. BUT I know I shouldn't be complaining. Yr 9 should be nothing compared to yr 11 and 12. :( Because of being able to pick your own electives, I now have more major subjects to stress over. Maths, english, science, japanese, textiles, elective history. And then comes all the other subjects which are meant to be fun e.g. PE. But they give us a bloody assessment and makes it sound oh-so-important! So much for "fun"!

Okay enough of my ramblings about school. On another note, bball is going.. okayish. I have to admit, it's not fun to lose, but I guess all this means is that we get better. Being in div 1 isn't the most exciting thing ever. It just means that we have to work heaps harder.

Chinese New Years is pretty much over, which is cool. Holidays are ALMOST here, can you believe theres only 4 more weeks until the end of term? wow, this term has sure flown by quickly. I still remember the first day of school, and even when I was in hk! wow. amazing. yay I can't wait for winter. eheheh. I love winter. It's so nice and cold. :)

Tired as hell

Howdy. Haven't posted in ages. I am dead from basketball. School is such a bore; so much work to do. So tired everyday. Sighhhhhhh

Well as I said, I have so much work these days from school. It's even harder since I have something on every afternoon except Mondays -_- I really don't know what to write so I'll just tell you about our fail basketball game yesterday :L Well it wasn't really fail seeing as we only had 5 players in the end so yeah.

So we started the game with 6 players, all feeling kinda... unenthusiastic seeing as we were going to vs a Diamond League team. SO the game started off badly, with the other team score like 30 in 10 mins -_- BUT we got our heads together and scored a few hoops and managed to play a better game. THEN in the second half, one of our players had to go, so we were left with 5 players only. OMG :O But in the end, we managed to score 15, and they scored 55. :L

I was actually expecting us to score like less and the other team to score like 100 because they're diamond league. hahahahah. But the game was quite fun, and challenging which is good. SO we'll just have to see how next week goes, and then see if we get moved down a div. OK time to work now :( Stupid maths.

Ahhhhhh today, I remembered what I love about school; friends. LOL lunch was epic man. We cracked up the whole time laughing at people (well not really just imagining things) and today was quite a bludge day. Also, giving Jenny and Nita the Justin Bieber "My World" album was so funny coz they were full screaming :L

ANYWAYS! Sport choices. YESSSSSS ZOMG I'M DOING KAYAKING THIS TERM LOLOLOLOL. IT WILL BE EPIC!!!! :L and of course doing kayaking with my fellow co-writer supdudley. :D

I kind of ceebs to write today. haha my bad. I was going to say something but I forgot... hmmm OH YEAH I did something to supdudley today that almost resulted in my death :L Because I know just how much she loves joel, I posted something on her status. :L:L:L She almost killed me for that. zomg hahahah It's amazing I'm still alive.

YES! Basketball training tomorrow, it's gonna be so tough. I haven't trained in like a month. lol wooops :P Aiya maths is such a bitch. So much hw man. Anyways to end, check out this picture. Esp the person on the left.

Hello. Well as you can see, this blog has a new layout! Yay!! What do you think? Nice? Or not? Hmmm well supdudley should be at home by now seeing as she finishes coaching at 1. Hahahahahah she goes coaching!!!! Asian much!!! Lol!!!! I wonder how her first day went :O

How exciting is it? I'm typing this post on my touch! Lol.... Not really that exciting... Anyways I have to go to clarinet tutorials in like 20 min which is gay. Sigh. I think I might quit clarinet after this year.. I just fully ceebs with it but I doubt my parents will let me quit :(

Anyways! How is everyone? I'm having a really bad couple of days and I feel like im gonna rage anytime soon.... Rawr (ew) lol. I've been posting quite a lot these days... I used to be like fully ceebs but now I'm like Zomg! I need to post something everyday! Haha okay well school tomorrow :( boo that sucks. But I get to look forward to training on Tuesday, ISCF on Wednesday, and basketball on Friday! Yay! Those things are like the only good thongs about school... Everything else is just yuk. Oh and I start marking on Tuesday. Yummmm money $$$$

Blast to the Past

Wow. School started today and I finally saw all the new "newbie" year 7s. It really reminds me of my first few days of high school when I was in year 7; it's already been 2 years since those days. Time has gone by OH SO QUICKLY! Seeing all the year 7s introduce each other and then sitting in massive groups of like 20, and the occasional loner year 7 (they'll make awesome, unforgettable friends soon) reminds me so much of when I was in year 7. I can't imagine what the next 4 years of my high school life is going to be like :O

Well, when you think first day of the school year, you usually think: YES BLUDGE DAY! Being the typical high school student I am, i was obviously wrong. With double history, maths and pe on my timetable for the day, I knew it was NOT going to be easy. Lot's of work was done during history, I almost got skin cancer from the sun going through the window while i was writing down pages of info T_T Math's was okay, except for the new teacher not letting us sit next to each other and instead, made us sit in alphabetical order; talk about O-M-G T_T_T_T_T_T PE was fun yet extremely hot, trust me, you do NOT want to learn to dance Salsa in summer. I sweated like a mad cow (is sweated even a word? lol I have no idea).

Onto a more happy thought, YAY IT'S THE WEEKEND!!! AHHAHA yeah it's pretty absurd that we go back to one day of school and it's the weekend already. That's it! Week 1, DONE! OVER! LOL! Now, usually at this time of the day on this day of the week, I would be down at Willoughby or Crows Nest, playing basketball. But unfortunately, basketball doesn't start until next week which is extremely sad.

I forgot to mention, I AM BACK FROM HONG KONG!.... well obviously LOL. BUT! I bought lots and lots of stuff in Hong Kong, including a few things for friends :) I also bought a lot of clothes.. for.. myself :P I absolutely LOVE Hong Kong. I wanted to buy a I ♥ HK shirt, but sadly, I was too chicken to walk into the "Gai See Pow Tows" and ask for one :L I also got 2 big purchases in Hong Kong, and by big, oh boy do I mean big (moneywise); a 32gb Apple Itouch, and a pair of Nike Hyperize Basketball Shoes. Luckily, the basketball shoes were a gift, or else I'd be seriously broke :L But the UNFORTUNATE thing is, is that I have to take my touch to an Apple store next friday, and get help with some connection problem with my applications T_T Which is OH SO ANNOYING!

One more thing I need to do, is welcome a new author to my blog! Yes that's right, CARRIE a.k.a. supdudley. As many of you have read from her previous post, yes I am too ceebs with this blog and have decided to get some help from a friend :L But I doubt we'll get that far.. coz w'ere both quite the ceeber... hahahah. Oh well, it's fun at times to share memories and stuff that's happening on this blog ONCE IN A WHILE. :D

LAST THING! myschool.edu.au has listed NORTH SYDNEY GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL AS 2ND PLACE OVERALL IN HIGH SCHOOL RANKING YES! This does redeem our poor hsc results- 6th place damnit T_T Well, ciao for now my friends as I go on a journey of salsa and intense basketball for '10 (it's so weird saying that :L)

Woopee!! First post for 2010! As you can see, Stand By You ♥ wishes to announce that we now have a new author, CARRIE!!!! (also known as supdudley) (It's really because Man Lok can't be effed to care about this blog anymore. So I'm taking over. LOL. Not really actually I don't even know if I can be bothered with mine either) So here I am, pretty much invading her blog. She doesn't really care. Oh well, point is that I will be co-writing this blog and sharing fun and hilarious memories or times with MANLOKKY! (nicknamed lachlan by me) 

So yeahhhhhhs. Awesome. There's not much to write but since it is the first post of the year, I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe new year!! And a safe holiday, but theres not much left since tomorrow is the first day of school. YAY!!! (I mean nooo!!) Hahaha. Me and lachlan have very fun times together, and since we cant meet up very often in real life IN THE HOLIDAYS, pretty much the most convenient and best way to communicate is via MSN. Yes, we do talk ALOT, so it's pretty cool. We actually talk everyday every morning and night... like non-stop unless one or both of us has something on. Which is.... rare.

I think I should stop blabbering about me and lachlan. Hmmmm, we are recently on hating terms with Amy. LOL KIDDING!!! I LOVE HERRR!!! WE LOVE HER!!! Oh yes we do.

Signing Off for 09

Well, this will be my last post before I'm headed to Hong Kong! :) So much has happened this year, it's amazing, really. But I have to say, 2009 flew by extremely fast. I can still remember the first day of school of 09, seeing all my friends again, and now here I am, at home, ready to fly off to Hong Kong!

Just a few updates from last post, I did watch Avatar last Tuesday, and to be honest, I didn't think it was that good of a film. Firstly, the length of the movie was way too long; almost 3 hours! There wasn't really any development in the plot, which made the movie quite... boring. The 3D was also a big shame, there wasn't anything special about the 3D, it didn't make you fall off your seat or make you go "WOW". So for those who want to see Avatar, don't watch it in 3D, it's totally not worth it.

So looking back to my list, let's see how much I've completed so far:

- play basketball with some friends

- clean my room

- finish Fated to Love You (which btw is THE BEST drama in the world. Very addictive. and ZOMG I'm up to this cliffhanger moment but I can't download because of usage. ARGHJDHFJAK)

- watch a few movies (ok maybe not a "few" but I did watch one)

- finish the jap holiday homework T_T

- go to office works and buy stuff for next year! YAY stationary shopping!

- buy a new school bag (or should I use my countryroad bag? hmmmm)

- make a list of presents to buy in hongkong for friends. zomg so many

- piano and clarinet practice :) ZOMG NEED TO PREPARE FOR BAND AUDITION

Well I guess this means I still have quite a lot of stuff to do when I come back from Hong Kong. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Summer holidays! Have a safe and happy holiday and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! :)

The title says it all; boredom has yet again, taken over the summer holidays. WHY OH WHY!?!?!?! Oh well, I'm going out to Chatswood on Tuesday anyways, so that should lighten up my oh-so-boring holidays so far :) BUT I can't wait to go to Hong Kong :) Oh and I'm making some $$$ tomorrow as well :) ehehehe having a job is awesome !

Yay! Avatar 3D on Tuesday! It's going to be sooo awesome! But it's sooo expensive.. $16 man! That's extremely crazy! You know what's really strange, even though I'm absolutely bored at the moment, I really cbb to clean my room or do anything. When I'm bored, I always end up on Facebook, endlessly clicking refresh, hoping someone will post something to do with me, or a notification will pop up, or something like that. Ahahahah :)

Ok so let's see some things I SHOULD do this holidays:

NORTH SYDNEY GIRLS CAME 6TH THIS YEAR. Now I can't really say anything because I have not yet experienced the stress of the HSC and stuff, but WE CAME 6TH!!!!!!!!! We must redeem our 2nd place ranking next year. :)

long time no blog

WOW. I haven't been here since AGES. School's almost out, 1 more bloody day, and then it's party time! YAY!!! Going to hongg konggg in 2 weeks :)

I really don't like the way our school's being run... Seriously, our new principal exec team (deputy's and principal) SUCK. Well they aren't "new" just the senior deputy, but still, such bad organisation. And what the hell is this RAP award thing? Some stupid "Hollie" replace dux? WOAHHH our school's gonna go academically down the drain! Some random public school is gonna beat us in the HSC ranking man!! Seriously!!

Well, I'm happy to say, that I can take a break from this horrible running of our school for 6 whole weeks :D I shall enjoy every moment of it, in Australia AND Hong kong :)

Wow I haven't blogged in a really long time! My last blog I think I was pmsing... hahah >.<

Well here's an update since last post :)

1. What I was angry about in my last post is over so I'm no longer raging! HAHAAH.

2. Term 3 holidays are almost over and school's going to start in 2 days. So I guess I won't be blogging much because of yearlies and stuff :) STUDY STUDY STUDY!

3. HOLIDAYS WERE AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!

4. I got braces :D

5. I haven't done any assignments :(

HAHA well number 5 is really my problem, but I thought you might like to know :)

I can't wait till term 4 is over, because I'm going to HONG KONG! :) I'm going to have a FAB time. But before I can go, I need to face the evil yearlies and bring back an excellent report. Hopefully I'll score all A's in English, Science, Maths, Japanese. The other subjects I'm not so worried about. :)

To all the other NSW high school students reading this blog (not like there are many) but GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR UPCOMING EXAMS :) Especially the former year 12's with their HSC including my brother. HAHA

Hmmm... sorry for not posting much... hehe :) But school's been sooo busy.. lot's of assignments and work to do, and tests coming up, and BIRTHDAYS!!!

SO MANY BIRTHDAYS IN SEPTEMBER!!!!! But it's fun and worth it :) hehehe

Well here's the latest scoop in my teenage life :) I being accused of liking 2 guys -_- I don't even like anyone. But both of them are just a joke. My friends like to tease me :'( haha

ALSO I got sick last week :( I REGRET SAYING I'D RATHER BE SICK THAN GO TO SCHOOL -_-

OMH!!!!!! SILVER SUN, THE LATEST BUZZ, NEIGHBOURS, AUSTRALIAN IDOL FTW MAN!!! I LOVE THOSE SHOWS!!!!! I CANT BELIEVE SETH DIDN'T MAKE IT INTO TOP 12 OR WILDCARD ==" HE WAS THE BEST OUT OF ALL THE LEFT OVER.... SO GAY MAN... AND HE WAS CUTE :P

ANYWAYS, let's hope my bball skills are back to top notch for this weeks game... coz I played soooo badly last time... it was so shameful :(

RICE RICE RICE!!!

Well it's been quite a while since i've posted here. But I've had SOOO much fun. RICEfever and RICErally was heaps amazing. RICEfever was really fun, we had a massive picnic with some friends, and listened to some amazing talks.

But RICErally was the real turning point of both events. The talks really touched my heart and I've decided I want to learn more about Jesus and what he's sacrificed so that we can stand where we are right at this moment.

The night started out really wonderfully, we all danced along to some catchy tunes from Nicole C. Mullen, and at around 7pm, the countdown for the official launch of RICErally began. I was really excited because it was my first year at RICE and I had no idea what was install for the whole night. The songs were amazing and were beautiful and catchy to sing along to.

The highlight of the night was definitely the talk Matt Chandler gave. It really made me think about who I really am, and what I've been doing with my life all these years. So after his talk, my friends and I decided to go to the RICE lounge, and talk to some RICE leaders about what we think about christianity and God.

From there, things got quite emotional for some of us, and I decided I want to devote myelf to God. However, I can't fit church or youth group into my daily routine because I have stuff on, but hopefully, by going to ISCF every week, I will learn more about God and what he's done for us. Also, I hope I can go back to church next year! :)

Now for those people out there who think that this whole christian RICE thing is all a cliche and thinks everyone who goes there will get "brainwashed", well, I know I can't change your mind. All I can do is hope that next year, you will come along to the RICE events, and hopefully experience this life changing event that happened to me!

So guys if you're reading my blog (probably not many out there), but IF you are, grab some friends and come along to RICE next year. I can guarantee you will have the time of your life :)
